Notice Board

For the 2018 season, Droxford and the Hampshire Bowman have joined forces to provide more than 40 fixtures on Sundays and Wednesdays to members.

Our home games will be played at the picturesque Droxford ground on the South Downs, whilst home T20 matches will be played predominantly at neighbouring Swanmore.

We will travel to some of Hampshire’s premier grounds to play cricket in a friendly and positive spirit, and will also frequent some of the most pleasant pubs in the Meon Valley and beyond, including the superb Hampshire Bowman.

This season, we are also planning to offer post-match beer and curry options at the White Horse in Droxford after home Sunday games..

Droxford Cricket Club sits on top of the South Downs at the edge of the village. The club has a long history with the Earliest mention of a cricket team in Droxford being in 1851, when it heavily defeated Winchester.

The last two years the club has enjoyed two successful seasons with ever improving performances, but we are not resting on our laurels and intend to make this coming year even better.

We are a team who play on Sunday afternoon against local teams in a friendly spirit. If you wish to start playing or are returning after a break from the game you will be made to feel welcome and we are sure you will enjoy the relaxed fun environment created by our current positive team spirit.

Practice on Thursday evenings through the summer months from 6:30pm onwards. Come along and say hello. Contact us for more details.
