Notice Board

It is the end of season and it is time for works to commence on the Droxford pitch.

We require as many volunteers as possible to attend the ground on Saturday 27th October from 09.30am to around 5.00pm

For those of you who volunteer for the day, there will be a subsidized curry afterwards at The White Horse (£5 per head rather than £10).

Please can you confirm via the normal means whether you are able to help and whether or not you will be having a curry afterwards.

Droxford Cricket Club sits on top of the South Downs at the edge of the village. The club has a long history with the Earliest mention of a cricket team in Droxford being in 1851, when it heavily defeated Winchester.

The last two years the club has enjoyed two successful seasons with ever improving performances, but we are not resting on our laurels and intend to make this coming year even better.

We are a team who play on Sunday afternoon against local teams in a friendly spirit. If you wish to start playing or are returning after a break from the game you will be made to feel welcome and we are sure you will enjoy the relaxed fun environment created by our current positive team spirit.
